With specialties in media relations, writing and special events, Healan brings seven years of public relations experience to the agency’s portfolio. Most recently, she has operated her own consulting business in Atlanta, and prior to that was Senior Account Manager with SocketPR, an Atlanta-based agency that specializes in media relations for the high technology market.

“We’re delighted Linda will be working with us to provide specialized, focused public relations services to our clients,” said Char Baxter, CEO of charbaxter.communications. “It represents another milestone in the growth of our agency. Healan’s experience includes work with such clients as The Resource Forum, Yamacraw Group, BigClix.com, RangeStar Wireless, Albion International, Spire, Inc., Knowlagent, Interland and Technologic, Inc. “I’m very pleased to be part of charbaxter.communications,” she said. “I’ve always been impressed with the agency’s work and the international reputation for quality they have earned over the years. Now, I hope to contribute to even greater success for their clients, particularly in the areas of media relations, trade show and press/analyst tour support.”

Healan also has worked with IBM, American Software, ComStar Communications, Intersis, Inc., REALM Information Technologies, and Bosch Telecom. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism/public relations from Georgia State University in 1993, and is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).
