Char Baxter Communications Names New PR Director

ATLANTA—(August 9, 2004)—Char Baxter Communications, the branding consultancy providing integrated marketing and public relations services to the technology industry, has hired Candace Flynn as public relations director.

Flynn brings nearly a decade of experience with high technology companies, including account management with Alexander Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. Most recently she was public relations manager for Voyant Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of voice conferencing solutions headquartered in Westminster, Colorado. She recently relocated to Atlanta.

In her work with Voyant, Flynn placed editorial coverage in more than 500 leading news outlets including The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. With Alexander Ogilvy in Denver, achievements included securing multiple broadcast opportunities and placing ongoing coverage for eBags, DataPlay, Nuera and Net Perceptions.
