Char Baxter Communications Adds Leading Network Security Company to Client Portfolio
Securiant Selects Char Baxter Communications to Spearhead Branding Program

ATLANTA—(August 24, 2004)—Char Baxter Communications, a branding consultancy providing integrated marketing and public relations services to the technology industry, announced today that it has been selected to create a compelling marketing campaign for Securiant, a pioneer in the simplified business integration of infrastructure security. The partnership will begin with development on Securiant's corporate and branding footprint.

Founded in 2003, Securiant has already made a tremendous impact on the network security industry. With a strong financial portfolio, the organization is poised for continued achievements. Securiant is bringing to market faster, more efficient solutions that enable businesses to manage network changes and block malicious activity on computer networks in real time.

"We have great respect for Securiant's successes to date and strong entrepreneurial leadership," said Char Baxter, CEO of Char Baxter Communications. "We are pleased with the opportunity to partner with Securiant in launching an exceptional branding initiative, and to offer them ongoing strategic results and fundamental business value."

Char Baxter Communications, acknowledged for its branding in the high-tech marketplace, has worked with local leading organizations including Manhattan Associates, S1 Corporation, Magnet Banking, Optio Software and Inovis. It is also championing the Georgia 1st initiative, along with John Yates of Morris Manning & Martin, a coalition promoting business development in Georgia.

"In an industry that's growing as fast as network security, we needed a partner with deep knowledge of our business," said Richard J.B. Campbell, founder, president and CEO of Securiant, Inc. "I am confident we found that in the Char Baxter Communications team. Their high energy, proven talent and ability to hit the ground running is a welcome addition to our effort."

A recognized community and business leader, Richard Campbell serves as a chairperson for the MTech council, a minority technology council sponsored by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).
