Agency's Expanded Offices Accommodate Web Development
June 14, 2000 — Atlanta, GA — charbaxter.communications announced today that it has created and staffed a new web development division to serve the agency's growing client base.
"With our new Internet unit, we're able to offer full-service strategic web development in-house," said Char Baxter, CEO of the national advertising agency based in Atlanta. "And so we're implementing more quickly than ever the web-centric marketing initiatives we create for our clients-from architecting a site's structure and navigation, to content development, graphic design, digital broadcast and streaming video, all the way through to programming, testing and launch."
The division is housed in the agency's 10,000-square-foot expansion at 2853 Henderson Mill Road, along with its integrated advertising, branding and creative departments.
The launch also coincides with charbaxter.communications' new branding initiative — more.think — which includes a new logo, advertising and public relations campaign that articulates the agency's renowned brand-building reputation in the technology and e-technology markets, as well as its depth of expertise in those fields.
Recently, the agency has launched branding programs that included new web sites for companies such as:
- LaserLink.net, a branded ISP provider (www.laserlink.net);
- Extant, Inc., an e-commerce telecommunications firm (www.extant.net);
- POMS, Inc., a provider of leading Manufacturing Execution Systems software(www.poms.com);
- Hyperwave, Inc., an Internet-based knowledge management firm (www.hyperwave.com);
- Nexchange, Inc., a distributed e-commerce solutions provider (www.nexchange.com).
In addition, the agency built a unique online petition for the Georgia Coalition for Arts Education, an organization for whom charbaxter.communications is the pro-bono sponsor. Since its launch earlier this year, more than 4,000 visitors have gone to the web site the agency developed for the Arts Coalition, and over 1,200 have signed the e-petition urging Georgia lawmakers to make arts education a requirement in Georgia schools, and to fund it accordingly. The agency expansion is well-timed to meet the needs of a growing roster of clients-including 10 signed in the first quarter of 2000.
